It’s the final Oakland Raiders game of the season which means the final edition of bold predictions for this season. But first, we need to take a look at how I did with last week’s predictions, so let’s get right into it.
LAST WEEK’S PREDICTIONS
1 - Khalil Mack has at least one sack and forces one turnover
Khalil Mack actually had his worst performance of the John Pagano era. He failed to record a sack for the first time since November 5th against the Miami Dolphins and was only able to record one quarterback hit. Though the Raiders were able to force two turnovers, Mack was not a part of either turnover.
2 - Derek Carr goes for 300 yards and 2 touchdowns
Based on the first half alone, it looked like Carr might hit this one. He had 118 yards and a touchdown before halftime but in the second half only managed 22 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. It was one of the worst halves of football for a Raiders quarterback we’ve seen in years. Carr was completely off and did nothing to help his team in the second half.
3 - Cordarrelle Patterson returns a kick for a touchdown
The Eagles were smart enough to kick it away from Patterson after watching him come close to scoring a touchdown numerous times against the Dallas Cowboys. Patterson didn’t get a single opportunity to return a kick against the Eagles with DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard each returning two kicks with the longest going for 26 yards.
